| Jr. G.C.O.P.S Crew |
| We started a Jr team in 2007. We feel it is important that our younger generation respects the dead by gaining an understanding of the paranormal. This will prevent teenagers from destructing graveyards and buildings. And even bridges. We know that when our children have a basic understanding of respect, it will prevent them from being so careless later or when they are with their friends. We cannot prevent all kids from destroying headstones or trash a building. But if we can change one child...then it is worth all the effort. We do not bring our Jr team to investigations unless it is a place we have been researching for a certain period of time. I trust the spirits we work with on a regular bases. These are the places the Jr's get to come along. We have 15 teenagers in our group. Each individual has to learn all steps of our ethics in investigating and researching. We rotate everyone around that way everyone gets a chance to learn. I am proud to say that our Jr team are on their way to becoming our future investigative researchers. With the proper training they have received, they can run investigations on their own. And that is the long term goal for Jr GCOPS. If you are interested in joining the Jr team, please contact us. You must be under 18 to join the JR team. We also require an application process which we can email to you. Your parents will have to sign a permission form which will also contain rules, insurance information (that we provide to all our members), and permission to use you in videos. We do not take our JR team to out of state/country investigations unless a parent of the child is present and a waver must be signed before we allow this to happen. But we do make exceptions with conditions. Our goals are to better the paranormal research field through proper training and understanding. They are our future and I am confident that the younger generations will continue our work once we are gone. But the only way to ensure this is by teaching those who want to learn. We do meet with the parents on a regular bases to ensure that their children's work with us, is not interfering with their school or home duties. If one of our members is not complying with these rules, they will be suspended until further notice or terminated from the team. So far, we haven't had to do that. I am very proud of Jr GCOPS and their capabilities. It also benefits the teenagers in a lot of ways. They are not getting into trouble on the weekends like most kids because they are preoccupied with investigations or research. I have two crew members who used to go to cemeteries and destroy headstones a few years ago. They no longer do this and prevent classmates/friends from doing these things as well. As long as Jr GCOPS continues to do the best they can, we will always have a JR team available for our younger generation to learn. Jr GCOPS photo's will be uploaded shortly. Please note that any copying of pictures, videos, and audio of JR team members is a copy right issue and a federal offense.
