Research Cemetery 1~ Fort Amanda
By Jas
Fort Amanda is located in Logan township in Shawnee, Ohio.
This is a beautiful Fort that was built in 1812 during the war.
This is where they stored supplies for the troops. The
Shawnee Indians fought along the side of these men for most
of the war and they lived right outside the camp. 75 unknown
soldiers are buried here at the cemetery. I have spent the
last several years researching EVP's here. I have made some
friends here as well. I would like to share my findings with
you here. I will include pictures and audio recordings of this
place. I enjoy this area so much that I do visit several times a
week with certain folks that are buried here. They are the
kindest spirits I have ever met and we have built a friendship
out of my visits. This is also the place where I have learned
so much about spirits and their uniqueness. I once believed
that all spirits that remained here on this earth were some
how held back by their emotions or tragedies or unfinished
business. But I found that not to be true at all because of
    these spirits.

The two spirits I have build a bond with are Catherine and
William DeHart. They have been buried since around the mid
1800's and do not receive visitors anymore. So I spend as
much time as I can with them when I am there. I look forward
to our visits because of Catherine. She has to be one of the
most interesting people i have ever met in the spirit world or
ours for that matter. At first, I believed her to be a young
woman as I listened to her EVP's I had captured of her and
William. She always speaks very soft and gentle. But yet
audible enough for me to hear her.
